Special Audio Feature: Salomon Kanafany

One of my favorite features of this episode are the two pieces of music I recorded while anchored at Punta de Mita. We met Salomon at a restaurant right on the beach-- I heard him singing across the restaurant and gladly offered him some pesos to serenade us (I always try and support musics who are good and pleasurable to listen to while dining). He sang Contigo Aprendi as his first tune, and I asked him graciously if he would be willing to record with me on the beach the following day.
